Ive never noticed anybody say anything about his race in the past but since he has lost there are a few who have brought it up and the hate for him seems a little over the top. Im just wondering if its soley his attitude for why people hate him or mabie it is because hes muslim. Im not making accusations i just wondered what peoples thoughts were on this.

I did think, he gets more exposure than Calzaghe and Hatton in the papers. Tell me why that is?

you keep referring to 'haters' which means you're a fan.

if someone says something you don't agree with call them out and challenge them.

if you can't do that and keep calling people haters it only shows you aren't confident enough to back up your point of view.

    you choose.

Yes, a lot of hate for being overrated

Doesn't change the fact that some use his race against him

Im not entirley talking about ESB. I had the live stream online and it was unbelieveable how bad the racism was on there. I mean full blown BNP racists shouting out garbage on the chat room there.

There probably are a good proportion of BNP people or Mail readers who hate/dislike him because of his race/religion, but level headed people don't let that bother them.;)

Haters was in quotation marks. I don't literally mean haters, I mean people, often constructively criticising him.

All I'm saying is that in the past, when discussing him, people have said that I'm only criticising because he's a muslim (or in some cases, a 'Paki'.)

I aren't a "hater" or a massive fan of Khan. I like to watch him because he's entertaining (weak chin plus agressive.)

I was at MEN arena when Khan was knocked out, many people were very happy.

The surprising thing is they all stood up when Khan made his entrance and many had come to see Khan. This has nothing to do with Warren because people still like Hatton when he was still with Warren,I dont know how people reacted to Macarinelli's defeat.

Personally I cant stand the hype Khan was getting, same with Ricky hatton. It's possible many people might be hating him for reasons beyond boxing

You think it's because of liberals? Are you kidding?

He was the only one to get a medal that year and he just got hype in the same way the likes of Harrison got it.

Do you think all Asians are getting a free ticket or is it just Amir (for being Asian)?

Liberals run the mass-media, I didn't think that was a disputed fact anymore, but oh well. He had 100x the hype Harrison got, and it's undoubtedly because of his religion. There are no other high profile sporting muslims other than Monty Panesar to hype but hyping cricket isn't quite the same is it?

This is basically what I was trying to say, and it's the liberal mass-media doing it.

Speaking on a personal level I don't hate anyone because of their race. On a seperate matter I think Khan's family have got way too much influence on what he does and doesn't to, I'll be honest by saying I think they were trying to milk the Khan express for every penny. Hence they took the SBO offer.

There is no problem in having your family involved but sometimes it needs to be from a distance.

Khan would perhaps do well to have chosen to train and fight in America. He's a big fish in a small pond over here. I'm not saying America would make him the greatest fighter ever or iron out all frailties but there's no need for an entourage at 21.

And good luck to Khan. That was a brutal ko he suffered, I've not seen many like that over in the UK for a while - especially in the opening minute.

I hope he does well, I really do. But I hope for him and everyone else around him this is a reality check.
