Does Khan have a China chin or did he just get hit by a really clean shot?.....

His chin is made of feathers. A damn jab stumbled him backwards. Talk all you want about other fighters having china chins, but when the first clean punch of your opponent lands hurts you, your chin is absolute Shite.

 

A combination of both. Those clean shots would have at least badly hurt a lot of fighters. Prescott is a heavy hitter, there is little doubt about that.

I don't understand the hate for the guy. I'm not a big fan either, but the lad is 21 and getting praised as the new thing. Can anyone blame him for being a little cocky? For the most part he still seems like a smart, decent kid.

He will have to work hard on his defense and there is little doubt, that he will have to change his whole approach to a fight...his chin appears to be very weak. But if he manages the transition to a slick counter-puncher, I still think their might great things ahead for him. At least winning an ABC belt. Maybe everybody can hurt him, but let's not forget that he can hurt everybody with his power as wel...

It is actually a true pity that his chin is as vulnerable as it is. If he even had a below average chin he had the potential to be involved in some tremendous brawls. Very exciting to watch, excellent offensive skills, he could have had some real wars.

He will have to become a very defensively savvy fighter to have a chance of reaching world level again.

 

He would have to have evasive skills better than Pernell Whitaker to become a world champion with a chin like that.

He doesn't have much pop himself allied to his handspeed, he has never KO'd anybody, relying on the referee's on 14 occasions.

 

I'm sorry but a jab and a grazing left hook is not a really clean shot.

 

He has a paper chin. Sad to say, but no less true.

If you get rocked by a jab to the temple ( by a non heavyweight ) then you have a china chin.
