In the UK nowhere near. If he was more durable he would have a much bigger global audience (than Hatton) but he's not so he won't.

Schaefer and Haymon reckon it will do well, thats good enough for me, they would have done their math. Mayweather carries the fight, not Khan - thats the mistake people are making. Mayweather v Canelo did great numbers in the UK, Mayweather against a brit will always do huge numbers

I didn't say it wouldn't do numbers, just that Khan isn't as popular as Hatton.

Theres no doubting whatsoever in popularity stakes Hatton is far far ahead, having said that its not particularly anything to do with his boxing skills. Most brits DKSAB

Calzaghe IMO was our best fighter over the past ten years, he wasn't really that popular

Fair play to him if true. It makes a change from fighters selling out to appeal to drunken casual football fans.

Hatton was a massive draw. In the UK, a Hatton fight was big business.

Look at how many followed him across the Atlantic to watch him fight in the states, he literally had his own army.

    Khan isn't close.

80% of the money Amir made was from endorsement. He didn't really make as much from boxing.

And the funny thing is Amir Khan bought twitter followers to act like he's a big draw.
