Does Kovalev beat every version of Hopkins?

I was always a Hopkins fan and thought his fight against Kovalev might be his last one, so I saw it live. I wished it was his last one. Kovalev fought at his usual pace and Hopkins had to use all his courage, guile, tricks and chin to survive - and he almost didn't make it. Hopkins took a pretty good beating and I don't think Kovalev took it easy on him at all. This was prime Kovalev against an ancient fighter. The Tarver version of Hopkins was still way over his prime but would have done better, but I still see Kovalev getting the decision. I don't see any younger version of Hopkins getting stopped by anyone including Kovalev. Hopkins was too good and tough for that.
