Apparently he's trying to get back on track again. He's 35 years old and hasn't been fighting all that much in recent years, or certainly without much success. Does he have anything left to offer boxing?
He still has power, that's there is to brag about and it can be enough to make noise in the division unless he runs into either Klitschko.
I seriously doubt we'll ever see him in against either of the Klits again. Wlad did a good enough job on him the last time and a Vitali vs Lamon fight doesn't particularly have dollar signs written all over it.
Mr.Magoo, That broad you got posted has a great ass..... It brings tears to my eyes like an onion......... Peace........ As for Brewster, yes, he's done........ He has jacked off way too hard since being manhandled by Liakhovich in 2006..... Jesus H., this is now '09...... Eye problems or not, Brewster is now faded....... Cheers..... MR.BILL
Which is why his only chance is Valuev' WBA, imagine if Valuev loses to Chagaev and we have a Brewster vs Chagaev fight. Now that would a very entertaining fight a fight Brewster does have a small chance in.
Truth to tell, Brewster was never much. Clear decision losses to Charles Shuford, Clifford Ettiene, and (gag) Sergei Lyakovich indicate that much. His ability to take horrific punishment led to his greatest victory, that fluke win over Wlad, who had lost to ordinary fighters in the past. Now ,as a result of the punishment received in the two Wlad fights, Brewster is on the slide. But the heavyweight division is as barren as the Gobi desert, and even a diminished mediocrity like Lamon could make some noise. I just hope he doesn't get hurt doing so.
He has nothing left. I been a huge Brewster fan since I seen him fight live in Pittsburgh on the Spadafora undercard, it was fight he lost against Eitenne, but showed his heart fighting with a ****ed up knee from the 2nd round on. I feel Brewster has been in far too many wars in his career, against Wlad we seen the end of the warrior that is Lamon Brewster. A guy that was not the most talanted, but had the heart and determination to overcome almost all odds. His first fight against Wlad was a huge inspiration to me, and was the closest I came to letting a tear drop from a watching a boxing match. That fight alone showed me that a big heart and toughness can sometimes beat even the most skilled fighters who aren't nearly as tough mentally.
Tua Brewster would be all kinds of exciting. Brewster may still have *it*, as he's had time to recover, rest and recoup.. And as we know, with some fighters, a rest hinders their game, but with others, a resting period rejuvenates them. Let's see how things go before dismissing Brewster. Power is probably still there, and his swarming outburts of aggression may get him back up the ranks.
He only has power which can lead to a KO..but other than that, I really dont think he has it anymore.
