so let me get this straight: someone gives you the opportunity to view or have something that no one else has on condition you keep it to yourself. if you uphold your end of the bargain you have the opportunity to se a LOT more that no one else has access to, or you can break your promise, let everyone see it so you can look like a big shot and as a result lose out on all those other rare films. what do you do? because frankly im not into collecting films for YOUR benefit or anyone elses. I just want to see those fights and fighters and don't want to lose the opportunity to see more. but, you expect me to blow my opportunity for your benefit with absolutely no benefit, and indeed a great detriment to myself... now who is being sad and short sighted. the films that I find myself I've spent a TON of money on. why should I just give them away when I can, and have used them as trades for other equally rare films... ON CONDITION THAT I DON'T GIVE THOSE FILMS OUT! people who never invest their own time, hard work, or money into this seem to never grasp that concept and I for one dnt understand why it is such a mystery.
If viewed by unworthy individuals those films will melt your face off. They are best left in the hands of those who can keep them from harming others.
You live in the Lou, correct? I'm from there, and if you're serious as a young, enthusiastic boxing fan I would welcome the opportunity.
Yes. I don't live there at the moment as I'm finishing up my junior year of college in Memphis, but I'll be back soon.
I'm saying this because I vaguely remember a post of yours in the general(?) about going to alexander-kotelnik, which I also happened to attend.
Still no Greb footage then? I ain't been on the Classic so long I didn't even realise Langford-Jeanette existed, even though the version on there is poor I was chuffed to be able to see it. Klompton, if I ever get to the States I'll be sure to take you up on your offer, no doubt you have some amazing stuff. Also, how's the book on Greb going? :good
Yeah I was at Alexander-Kotelnik. That was a great time. Did you hear they are talking about having Alexander-Matthyse in St. Louis in the summer. I'll be there for sure, I just hope they have a good undercard like last time. I live about two hours southeast of St. Louis in Carbondale. Im in St. Louis every couple of months for work. My works regional office is in Chesterfield so I drive up there every couple of months for meetings. Any time you are headed to this area (although why you would I dont know) let me know.
