I spend most of my time in the classic discussing with knowledgeable posters. Honestly some threads on here make me cringe.

Having someone pick apart holmes resume on the off chance someone will do the same to wlad, nothing to do with thread btw, is ridiculous.

Obviously this is a pro klitschko thread, using Holmes as validation, Holmes was short changed with Spinks in the rematch IMO.
However as weak as that era was it was better than what we have today, those fighters trained and fought....

*It's sad when u have to have Ali on Holmes resume to make ur point... that's desperate... shavers and Nortons best days were waaaay behind them when they fought Holmes, and it's argueable that Holmes won the Norton fight at that.

Did you even read the post at all? It is the list of everyone who has been top ten ranked by the ring and I think you'll agree that ali fits that criteria.

Norton was the champ when larry fought him in a terrific battle.

I don't need to make any point because everyone knows he's an atg, it was more a case of me educating the doubters by displaying his resume of notable opponents.

And he never even fought frazier! You can't criticise him for fighting shot me when he didn't even fight them!

It was his son that larry beat up

*He's just not top 10... and yes, Norton vs Holmes was agreat... still, Nortons days were well past him.

    and i thought Norton won...

8ps..i was writing fast and wrote Frazier... meant Shavers... oh, and i did see Holmes fight, unlike many inhere.

*Holy, Foreman, Lennox, Tua, both Klitsko's, Ike Ibeabuchi, Bowe, Byrd, Tyson... that's 10 fighters that would beat Holmes, and i didn't even need to get out of the last 15 years.

I'm not a fan of holmes, nor of the 4 heavyweights I rank above him. I've just been serving to educate those who felt his resume was lacking.

Looking at your list i'm giving up. I can't convince such logic.

    Have a good day sir.

    *U asked for 10..i gave u 10 in 10 seconds... then u give up... don't ask then.

the only fighter that i have a problem with is Byrd, but if Spinx beat Holmes twice, then i'm confident Byrd could do the same...

    Holmes just isn't that great...
