    One of the best but there are better, Ali being the prime example.

    Ali is easily better. Holyfield's is better and contemporary too.

    Lewis is my favourite heavyweight of all time but his resume while one of the best isn't the best and not even the best in his era. Holyfield had a better resume having fought Bowe and a better version of Tyson. Ali also had a great resume as he fought in the best heavyweight era.

    Yeah, he's the ONLY top level HW champ to get taken out early like that, not once, but TWICE, in the early by second rate fighters when he held the title. The only one.

    The overrating of Lewis on this site never ceases to amaze me. His resume isn't even the best of the last 25 years, let alone best of all time.:patsch

    I'm a Lewis fan but yeah... just no.

    Ali's resume is something special... doubt it's gonna be topped at Heavyweight... ever.

    One of the best but there are better.

    Lewis and his resume are still criminally underrated in some quarters though.
