    Bowe never KO1'd Andrew Golota
Bowe never KO 8ed Mike Tyson
    Bowe never TKO6'd Vitali

Bowe never fought the tough contenders of the early 90's in Mercer, Morrison, Bruno, Mccall, Ruddock.

Id say Bowe needed this fight more because he doesnt have much else going for him.

He does have a really good CW on his resume though.. Evander.

Who is NOT a HW but is a great CW and would probably beat any small guy throughout history (like he did Tyson). Bowe got lucky that little Evander was there because Bowe was just average against normal sized HW. Look how a mediocre but good-sized HW in Golota schooled Bowe. Lennox would have humiliated him.. Bowe knew that very well.

Lewis needed to stop crying back then, the Bowe Holyfield fights were what the people wanted, no one had an interest in a Lewis fight back then , just like no one had an interest in lewis byrd fight either that or lewis ducked him and handed over the belt and threw 2 belts in the sewer rather than face madatories he self

Difference is that Lennox was undefeated in 1993, and universally recognized #1 contender to Bowes crown.

Byrd had been KTFO'd by Ike Ibeabuccii, shut out by Wladimir Klitschko, and later fought Golota to a Draw....and he's boring as fck.

Didnt you get the fax Grizzy?:huh
Winning two rounds from 6 whilst losing the last two clearly constitutes domination in the weird and wonderful wacky world of the Klittards.

I kinda agree, its too bad Bowe threw the belt in the garbage rather fighting the man that wiped his ass in the Olympics. Beating up Bowe is a much better win then TKO6 Vittles. Bowe was the champ, Vittles was always the bridesmaid:deal

    Tyson-Holyfield '91 and Lewis-Bowe '93.

Two of the greatest heavyweight fights in history to not happen.

Lewis paid the WBC to lowball Bowe and give him a contract he couldn't accept. Lennox wanted no part of that fight.
Thats why he publicly trashed the belt and not Lewis .

Voted yes by accident, it doesn't hurt his legacy at all

It hurts chicken bowe, but a lot of the blame should also be directed at Newman who realised his gold nugget was going to lose.
