I have not seen enough of Juan Manuel lopez to really be able to say. Ive seen some Juan of Ponce De leon and he seems very crude with a big punch, with this fight on its way is Lopez a live threat to take the belt.

Most definitely. In fact I am drooling over the odds on Juanma, who I favor in this fight that has upset written all over it. The ONLY question in this fight is how good is Juanma's chin? We have yet to really see a test on it, but also no reason to call it shaky

He does. JuanMa is a boxer with the footwork needed to avoid a brawl that would benifit De Leon.
I would be surprised if Lopez stands toe to toe. In his passed fights, JuanMa has shown a lack of "cojones", resorting more to runnin than boxing.

can Lopez punch or is he strictly a dance, run and flik the jab type looking to steal rounds and get a decision

Yes, he could very easily outbox him and take a decision

I'm way more interested in this fight than Pavlik Lockett

No no no. Juanma is the real deal imo, and while he obviously isn't a power-puncher he has some pop on them when he wants to. Not feather-fisted by ANY means. And he is definitely not a "flick jab, run, dance" style so much as a pure boxer type with good counterpunching (see the Andrade fight where I don't think he even gets hit)

Even though I think he may be getting rushed up a bit, I think Lopez stands a very very good chance to upset Deleon.

He can't like decisions that much considering he has 19/21 stoppages

He's got a decent punch, not a knockout puncher, but enough to keep his opponents honest. Maybe I'm being to critical, but I've seen him resort to some dance and run style. But like I said, Maybe im being too critical

The Ponce De Leon fight will definitly be a test for JuanMa. And will show if he's the real deal or just a flashy jab flicking fighter.

I guess this weekend is a good one for fights
HBO AND SHOWTIME, Pavlik vs Lockett, and Lopez vs Ponce
I wonder if there is an undercard on the Qiuntanna vs Williams fight?

I thought Pavlik/Lockett and Juanma/DeLeon were next weekend...? And I think Forrest/Mora is on the under of Quintana/Williams (can't wait to see the snake beaten to a bloody pulp  )

I'm real torn on that crap. For one, I like having options between Sho-time and HBO...on the other hand, May 31st is empty. Why not have quintana/Williams and Hisssssssss/Forrest on May 31st?
