Oscar, Hatton and Mosley lost to money an dthen pc with a fight or so inbetween, and lost, does that mean they are shot? or could they have gone on and won other big fights, and even gone fopr other fights instead of pac?

oscar could have beaten guys at 154 if he wanted, hatton could have beaten guys at 140 if he stayed in the game, I cant see mosley win big titles though but he can be a backfiring steppingstone if he really tries and things work out.

Mosley lost his heart, his eye of the tiger. It's not losing to the top 1 and 2, it's the manner in which those guys lost. Hatton got his jaw shattered (a noble endevour started by Kostya Tszu, added greatly by Collazo and finalized by Floyd), and Delahoya discovered that he liked fishnets and heels better than boxing gloves.

It matters how bad they look, Shane showed that he still had power in the Mayweather fight, he showed **** all in the Pacqiauo bout.

Actually the exact same can be said for all the guys you mentioned when thinking about it.

It doesnt always mean they are shot, but once they get to that stage where the only 2 fights left are money and pac. But from around 135-147 the fighters are good, really good but pac and floyd have dominated nearly everyone in those weight classes and in my opinion they are a big big step up from everyone else.

Say your a fighter for example, you have good oposition lets just say you fight zab then kahn then margo, bradley etc etc.... after those types of fights you have no real choice but to look at pac or floyd, but they are so much better that they make the divisions look bad. Easy to say that a fighter is shot after loosing to them because the majority get dominated. But no I dont think all fighteres are shot, take bradley for example, i think he has almost every fighter beaten from 135 to 147 if he chose to. But do i think he could beat pac or floyd. No.

Oscar, Mosley, and Hatton couldn't win a single round against Pac. Don't think Hatton was shot, but Oscar and Mosley for sure.

Kessler has only ever lost to Calzaghe and Ward. Both considered about top 5 P4P.

Yet, some think he is shot.

(personally I agree that he has not been at his best since the Calzaghe fight because of injuries etc. but I actually think he could be stronger than ever in the next few fights).

Mosley is not shot, he is old. There is a difference.
Even Erik Morales is not shot but he ain´t far from it. He can still pull the trigger but not like he used to.

Agreed. Oscar at 144 or whatever would have looked shot regardless of opponent. I think he could've continued and had some very good wins at jmw. Hatton clearly could have kept going at 140.

Mosley is interesting because I think he could still be tough at ww or jmw, could pick a few guys off, but can no longer compete at the elite level, at all.

I wanna see Mosley in with a Berto or Ortiz type

he lost badly to Floyd and Manny but how many guys between 140 and 154 are any where near those 2

Mosley could give Berto and Ortiz and Zavek and Mike Jones and Malinaggi tough fights

and i would rule him out vs Canelo or K9 or Paul Williams

I imagine Cotto would beat him again but that wouldnt be a bad fight
