The thought never occurred to me previously as the Belfort KO was so spectacular, but Bisping is featherfisted and the punches that put him down weren't even that clean.

Should we start to assume that Rockhold has chin issues? Will this prevent him from being one of the greats in MMA?

    Thoughts?

It's very suspect but it was made possible by sloppy technique and overconfidence. If they fought 10 more times, Rockhold would beat ****ping every time.

The thing is that these MMA fighters can't defend. You'd never see someone being that sloppy defensively at the elite level of boxing, that's why these KOs don't happen often there, but in MMA guys are running into punches all the time or sticking their chins out.

Nothing wrong with fighting with your hand down but the whole point of shoulder roll is to tuck your chin and cover it with your shoulder when you're in range of your opponent and he's hitting you. Something that neither Conor nor Rockhold are able to do in time. It's funny to see these grapplers suddenly thinking they're prime Roy Jones Junior after knocking out some other MMA fighters

Nope, he had gotten hit a few times cleanly by other guys. Both times stopped was very early in the fight,. I think these are the three primary factors on how/why he got stopped.
    1) Didn't see or expect the punch
    2) Caught cold
    3) Opponent (rightfully so) did not give any time to recover and followed the knock down with additional clean punches

He's chin was sticking out real bad even Rogan mentioned it during the fight..... He really took that fight lightly, no doubt he would destroy him in a rematch
