    Please discuss...

As you know, Cruiserweight is a awesome divison, and this is one of the fights up and comming in this awesome division.

I fail to see Mac beating Haye.

Does anyone give him a decent chance v Haye? If so, please discuss.

I think Mac has a chance, anytime you face a fighter with a weak chin like Hayes, you got a decent chance of winning. My money is on Haye, but an upset is very possible in this one.

Haye is extremely lazy in the defence stakes. Against Mormeck he hand his left hand so low he wasn't just inviting right hands to the chin he was practically begging for them. Enzo Calzaghe will have seen that, have no doubt, and he'll have Macca primed and ready to exploit Haye's lack of defence. So yes, Maccaranelli does have a chance

He's got a descent chance, but I think Haye KO's him.

Of course he has a chance. Only a fool would underestimate a fighter from the Calzaghe stable.

I make Maccaranelli favourite. Haye at cruiserweight will come in weight drained and he will get outworked by Maccaranelli. Haye might have Maccaranelli in a world of trouble early in the fight but if Enzo survives, i take him to knock Haye out in eighth round.

I still think Haye is the better fighter but he's stupid to carry on at the weight. He's done it for the money.

haye is far too explosive and has too many skills for macc to cope with,i see a late stoppage or early ko for the hayemaker.

I only give Haye a slight edge in this fight for his being the bigger fighter, but Enzo is a pretty slick boxer, has a very even offense with a decent jab, good body attack, and good power in both hands. He also has a better defensive game than Haye, who holds his left by his waist inviting straight lefts by Enzo all night.
Haye has a reach advantage but is often lazy with his jab which could negate that and let Enzo get inside. I think its a question of who gets to whose chin first and if Haye is sloppy and lacklustre, Enzo has more than enough power to put him to sleep.
Haye has to be smart in this fight, keep his ****ing hands up, use his jab and set Enzo up for the big right.
Enzo has to be busy, elusive, and aggressive, keeping Haye on his back foot, not allowing him to get leverage or extension on his punches, punish to the body and try to take it into the later rounds where Haye's stamina could be lacking due to his weight issues.
Its a tough fight to call but I think Haye catches Enzo with a bomb and knock him out in the middle rounds. If he doesn't, then Enzo by late round TKO.

Enzo definitely has a real chance because of his power and the fact that Haye's defense can be leaky and his chin isn't top notch. But at the same time, Enzo doesn't have the greatest chin either and Haye has the power to take him out. He basically needs to land his biggest punch on Haye and follow up before Haye does the same to him.

A few things to note, Haye clearly has more power than Enzo if it comes down to a slugfest. I hate how their power is talked about in equal terms, when everything points towards Haye being the bigger hitter by a fair margin. A much higher KO ratio (Enzo's is really nothing outstanding for a cruiser) and has knocked out opponents with a pulse

Secondly, Haye's chin might be shakey but he has shown he is a true warrior by coming back from the brink and winning. Enzo has been matched so easily, that his chin hasn't been tested since getting starched by a nobody, and thus he has never had to come back from being hurt

I don't think Enzo is favourite but the rest of the post is pretty spot on.

Haye may well get outworked and lose a couple of rounds but at the end of the day he will connect, and Enzo has a poor chin, it'll be lights out around the 5th in my opinion.

I'm just thinking if Fragomeni and Mormeck can go seven to eight rounds with Haye at cruiser, then so can Maccaranelli. Haye might be inspired by the event and hype and really make every punch count. If does this he should overwhelm Enzo early as he has the tools to do so.

I just think the more likely scenario is that Enzo's chin proves to be better than we think, the fight turns into a battle of attrition, Haye drops his gloves looking for the big right, and Enzo stops him.

Give credit to Haye though, he really doesn't seem to give a toss if he loses or not. Real crowd pleaser he is.
