To be honest; no, I don't give Mac much of a chance in this fight. I think he is going to get ktfo

Haye is over-rated while Mac is under-rated...

Mormeck damn near took Haye's head off with that right. If the Frenchman wasn't so fragile of psyche, Haye'd still be trying to pick himself up.

And Fraggomeni got thru so many rights agaisnt Haye, it was comical. Luckily, the italian couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag.

Meantime, Maccarinelli has a very solid win against ex-champ Braithwaite... He showed tight defense and punches behind a solid jab and disciplined ring generalship. Frankly, I was shocked at his high level of performance.

Haye's the one thats got all the holes in his armour. Mac is a sharp-shooter and makes very few mistakes. Haye might have the bigger howitzers, but they are sloppy and leave him open.

He could get lucky again as against Mormeck but I think Mac is tight enough to not let himself get caught by stray ones.

    Mac by late round KO.

I am actually picking Macca to win in this one. I just have a nasty feeling Haye will be really drained and Macca will outlast him and TKO him late.

On the other hand however, Haye could completely blitz him early, its really hard to pick a winner here tbh....

Puncher's chance, eh? Well, he's a helluva puncher, they both are.

I reckon it's a 50-50 fight, would be amazed if it goes past 5 rounds. Haye's the favourite 'cos he's a bit of a media darling. Either way, looking forward to getting pizza & beer and ignoring my girlfriend for a couple of hours when this one kicks off.

    I respectfully disagree.

Haye is rated because he has fought tough opposition his entire career. He has earnt that respect the hard way, whereas Macarinelli has had a relatively easy route to the top when compared to Haye.

Haye's performance against Mormeck was not luck. It was a superb performance against a quality guy. The best man out there. He outboxed Mormeck on the back-foot from the beginning, using excellent footwork and defensive skills. He showed patience, heart, maturity and ring generalship. These are qualities that Macarinelli has not shown because he has not been forced into the position where he needs to show them.

Mormeck nearly took Haye's head off? Really? Coz I saw Haye get clipped, back into the ropes and lose his balance. If that punch had landed in the centre of the ring I dont think Haye would've gone down. And lest ye forget, Haye wasn't hurt by it at all. He got up and hurt Mormeck later in the round.

It was a clinical performance. Haye boxed defensively, bided his time, used the jab well and once Mormeck had gassed, like has done in the past, after trying to finish Haye off in the 5th Haye saw his moment and took him out. Haye has that killer instinct, to know when a guy had given his best and is ready to be stopped. I havent seen that in Macca.

Braithwaite was a solid win, but why couldn't Macca finish the job? D'ya think Haye woulda let Wayne go 12 with him? Braithwaite was dead meat after the 4th, and although Mac showed some decent skills and maturity by not rushing in against a puncher, its not hard to show those qualities against a guy who knows he's lost the fight. When Haye was in that position against Mormeck, he put Mormeck to sleep. Why couldn't Mac do it?

Mac has never faced a puncher as dangerous as Haye, and he will not have the experience necessary to overcome that. Haye has proved continually he can overcome adversity. That will be the difference. Once Mac tastes Haye's power he'll forget about boxing, panic, start making mistakes and will turn into the one-dimensional clubber he used to be before Enzo Calzaghe got him.

    Haye by mid round KO.

    Macca has a decent chance.

I think Haye is the faster, more skilled and talented of the two, but if Macca can play a perfect defensive plan and land some big blows, he can win this fight.

We have seen far more improbable upsets happen than this.

Whoever lands first. Haye is far better than Enzo but he is a time bomb ticking with that chin of his.

I fully expect Macca to win. And it will be a boring fight.

A remote punchers' chance, that's it. Maccarinelli's chin is even worse than Haye's. At least it takes decent fighters to knock Haye out.

I think Haye will outclass Maccarinelli, and probably KO him, but Macca has a chance, with power like his, and Haye's weak chin, there is always a chance.

I see a chance. Haye don't have a great chin and Macca can punch so at least he has a punchers chance.
