Like I said....I had Floyd winning but many folks...respected folks saw the fight in favor of Miadana. In my opinion close fights a reason enough for a rematch....throw in that this was an incredible fight that had those who watched live or bought the PPV on their feet. At the end of the day it was a competitive fight and one of Floyd's more difficult fights.....It also was one of Floyd's best boxing displays in his career.

Of course there's reason for them to do it again....Why else would Floyd immediately OFFER a rematch to thousands of fans and close to 900K homes in the US? The rematch is deserved and already has built in promotion to help the PPV numbers in case Showtime execs. have issues with it.

Maidana deserves a rematch but Floyd wont give him one.
If Maidana fought Floyd anywhere but Vegas & had a level playing field he'd kick Floyd's ass

How does Vegas make a difference in Maidana's ability to kick Floyd ass?

C'mon man just look at the judges scorecards, no way in hell Maidana was gonna get a dec win. Floyd wont fight anywhere but Vegas its his hometown The Commission let him get away with murder as do the referees & as for the judges?? I'll say no more. Look at C.J.Ross who made the Canelo fight a raw a bad decision yes and she got fired for it because it was Floyd. Eugenia Williams totally ludicrous vote for Evander Holyfield over Lennox Lewis was Wayyyyy worse She is STILL judging although she uses the name Gene Williams now

From what I hear, it was close enough that Maidana might have deserved the decision just like Castillo, but I haven't watched Mayweather's last couple of fights. If it was that close, I'd say that Maidana should get another shot. Personally, coming off a close fight with Mayweather, I think it would be nice to see how Pacquiao does with him, if it could be arranged.

Maidana didn't come close. 8-4 Mayweather, 7-5 Mayweather at best.

    No

It was a competitive fight but Maidana still lost 8-9 of those rounds.

Considering how so many of us wrote him off? I would think so. No one else is going to pressure Mayweather like that again. Maidana deserves the payday for working his ass off to win more rounds against mayweather than he's lost in the 3 previous fights combined.

I think it would be fun to see if mayweather is capable to fight another fight. After all, he is 37 years old.

Also, at least to my eye, he didn't look as confident during the walk-in as he usually does. I believe he had some personal problems (?) going in to the fight, that might also have played a part in the fight.

So Floyd has to be injured or compromised fir Maidana to win? Floyd has to have bad hands, Chino has to have magic gloves, and the fight can't be in Vegas... in other words Maidana is not good enough to beat him without special arrangements.
