does malignaggi have the power to ko khan?

I'm British, White, and think Khan has got the talent to go as far as he wants in the sport.

He has great power, phenomenal handspeed, is gutsy, and is young enough to make adjustments to any defensive errors he may make.

I just hope that his life outside the ring does not change him, all the attention since Athens, when he appeared to be a nice humble, decent guy, changed with the Court cases, and him talking himself up to a ridiculous level, upsetting seasoned pros along the way.

The guy has won a Silver Olympic Medal at 17, and Gold at the World Junior Championships at amateur level. He clearly has pedigree and is deserving of the hope British fans have for him rather than hype.

Hopefully his bout against Limond, where he got cocky, the court cases and negative press, will strengthen his character. His Dad seems a really good role model for him, and hopefully he will keep him grounded from now on.

Amir has stepped up in class recently, but is still learning, and has a couple more steps to go.

As for a bout with Malignaggi....... it's way too early for him. Malignaggi, is too experienced and big for Khan right now. Does he have the power to KO Khan?? Yes if Khan hangs his chin out, pays no attention to defence, then anyone can KO Khan.

 

you must be hurting alot to see that he hasnt got ko'd yet as his chin hasnt been protected in the pros. oh wel u can always hope for feb 2nd eh mate.

Yep.. and he's still very young.. his chin will improve marginally..

 

To be fair, Khan's chin hasn't really been tested at the moment, so I don't think anyone can make a credible argument for or against it.

The hype? It's there, but it's been there for so many people, you shouldn't blame the fighter for it.

Can't see them fighting at the moment, much too early for Khan. He hasn't fought anybody who even gets near the baby bull.

However, I do think he could take Katsidis.

I also think he can beat all the usual suspects (Thaxton, Murray, McAllister, Romanov).

If there's one thing you have to give Khan credit for, it's his hand speed. He's got exceptional hand speed.

 

Amir Khan has had 15 fights. He should not be fighting the best LW in the world.

Mate you just hate Khan. Very few fighters after 15 fights could fight a top 12 p4p fighter and top LW in the world.
