I know, to ask such a question is blasphamy after weeing him spark Cotto and Hatton the way he did but lets go back one more fight. Despite completly owning DLH and hitting him at will with every punch in the book, he never really hurt Oscar. Never dazed him, never dropped him.

After the fight Oscar said that he didn't feel any power from manny. he said that he quit because of the accumulation of punches but that the power wasn't impressive. So do you think that floyd is as durable as DLH? Can he possibly take pacquiaos best shots and shrug them off and if so what will be Manny's plan B.

It's the punches you don't see... De La Hoya didn't throw a single punch at Pac and therefore was ready for every incoming punch that hit him. Look at Floyd when he was hurt against Corley momentarily -- it was because he was in the middle of throwing his own punch that he got caught. So yes, of course it's possible for Pac to hurt Floyd, but he has to catch him at the right time.

Oscar is a bit bigger than Floyd, Cotto is at least as big naturally as Floyd, Pac can hurt any WWT in the world IF HE HITS THEM ENOUGH TIMES.... thats the key, he can get FMJs attention with 1 or 2 clean shots, maybe get his attention big time but that will just make Floyd respect him more, tighten up his D & raise his own game..... IMO.

Well yeah, because Oscar is probably horribly out of shape and hasn't fought since that night... plus he's shot.

Oscar proved that night that his chin is one of the greats. I have NEVER seen the man hurt from a head punch, EVER. And that's after fighting Pacquiao, Trinidad, Mayorga, Hopkins, Mosley, Quartey, Vargas and many more. He takes clean shots and doesn't flinch, definitely an ATG chin.

Note: I know he's been knocked down a few times, but they were flash KD's, he was never hurt.

    Yeah, he does.

He wouldn't hit Floyd as many times as he hit Hatton (over 12 rounds)... I don't see a one punch KO, nor an accumulation.

This fight will go the distance, which favours Floyd.

Anyone could get hurt, but if this fight takes place at 147, in addition with Mayweather's skills and great defense and always carrying out his plans against opponents. Does not care if the crowd is booing, little chance we will see Mayweather hurt. This fight will start with the negotiations and will eventually influence on who gets the better deals that will determine the winner and the loser.

I believe he can. Judah hurt Floyd a couple of times, one with a short hook, so Manny could do the same.

Floyd won't slug it out with the guy like he did crazy corley. Corley is a at landing punches you don't see as well. Floyd will keep the high guard up, block the majority of pacs punches, and walk Pac into the straight right. Don't think Pac will hurt him, but could he? yea

Yes but that was because Delahoya was using his jab. Pac doesnt have the range or a Jab like Oscar has. He wont run out of steam though he has to fight the whole fight like its the 1st(and im sure he will) he has to push him to the ropes, and Get May to exchange. If he catches May,of course he can hurt him,but ive never seen floyd hit with more than one clean punch at a time. My guess is that Mayweather has a pretty decent chin, but if Manny catches him he could hurt him for sure.

I agree, DLH's workrate was pretty low, and so he did spend most of his time occupied with defending.......though it seemed to me that he was'nt so much preoccupied with trying to block Pacquiao's shots, than he was looking to land a big shot.
.....but yes, in any regard, when your workrates low, you're not preoccupied throwing punches, thus you can focus more on whats incoming.

......DLH's workrate for example was pretty good vs Mayweather. Mayweather on at least two occasions had DLH's legs giving in under him with single shots.....on both occasions it was when DLH was trying to get off.

I doubt that Pacquiao can badly hurt Mayweather with a single shot. Cotto does'nt have the sturdiest chin in the world, and he would probably have survived the last round had the referee not stepped in on a mercy stoppage by deciding that Cotto had just taken too much punishment throughout the fight.

What I saw Pacquiao do against Cotto on several occasions was windup to try and deliver a fight ending punch from far back......yet he never could put Cotto out that way.

Pacquiao it seems to me is just going to have to outwork Mayweather and hope that he lands a shot when in the midst of Mayweather throwing one of his own.......
......and who knows, Mayweather has never been consistently landed on throughout a fight.....if Pac could do that, who knows....it may turn out that Mayweather has a Roy Jones like chin.:D
