No but he should then fight Ortiz if this should happen, its not going to happen though come on now...
But my question for you is, why are you asking us this question? are you looking to find a way out of the Mayweather fight for Pac? Has reality suddenly slapped you across the face.... there is no more blaming it on Mayweather, no more blaming it on Pac now its time to see who is the better of the two......

Does Floyd still need to fight Manny if Marquez beats him? In my opinion they would both still do well to fight each other regardless, but it takes a lot of shine off of the fight.

He wouldn't need to no, Floyd's dug himself such a hole with his mouth that any loss will tarnish him forever in the eyes of casual fans.

That being said the fight will still happen because of money.

    Good question.. IMO
I would say NO & Ortiz replaces Mayweather as THE FIGHT.

Then again it depends how & what a layoff 34yr old Floyd looked like.
(IF say he looks great but just get's caught by Vic...ect)

But a K.O. loss IMO all but kills the "Mega-fight" most of you have been wanting.
It would change every dynamic & odds/predictions/analysis ect...

I don't think a fighter should be judged on one loss. Although I guess if he gets dominated for 12 rounds - which is super unlikely - then yeah, maybe Pac shouldn't fight May. But a loss only means just that, nothing more.

I voted yes just because both have been the best boxers this past decade but it would have to be after the ortiz fight IMO. If ortiz wins then i like to see him fight pac next then pac-floyd can fight after.

This time pac would have the upperhand and floyd has to agree to his demand.
