Does Margarito have a chance?

I can't vote. If your poll included "Margarito should be slightly favored," that would be my choice. Or, I might vote for a "50/50 fight" option.

Most of the "mismatch" bull**** comes from two sources. 1) *****s who want us to believe Pac ducked Void so he could fight some hobo. 2) *******s who believe Pac could beat prime SRL and prime Hearns on the same night.

 

I think Margarito has a very good chance to upset Pacquiao. This will be a closer fight people think. Margarito is much taller and bigger than Pacquiao. I think Margarito pressure will get to Manny just like the Cotto fight. Margarito by late KO.

 

the gap between very slim chance (10%) and very good chance is quite big imo.
He has a close to 30% chance I believe.

 

Margarito will give Manny a better fight than his last 2 opponents.

He does have a chance. I'm not sold that Pac's punches will have the effect Shane's did for two reason:

1. Pac isn't the puncher Shane is IMHO
2. Margarito has a huge size advantage over Pac. You can be a big puncher, but whne facing a bigg guy, that changes. (See Shane vs. Winky, Tito vs. Winky, Tito vs, Hopkins, Gatti vs. Baldomir or Gomez). It happens when you move up too high.

Voted slim chance, because while I think Margarito does in fact have a lot going for him everytime I pick Pac to lose he proves me wrong.

pac has a huge speed advantage, as long as he stays off the ropes marg will be eating hard punches in bunches all night long.... actually just for about 6 or 7 then he gets stopped by pac.


marg is too slow and will walk right into pacs punches, pac will then move away, the cycle will repeat.

marg is also a slow starter, pac is a fast starter, marg probably gets hurt early.

 

More money to be made in a PAC loss. :deal

 

Margo if he is in tip top form and conditioning and mentally ready can take Mannys punch and get to the body and wear him down and maybe win

I assume this will be a great fight their styles match up so well

Margo can win on a perfect night where everything goes his way if not Manny takes it but not without difficulty

 

I think early on Pacs hand speed and power will make the Manny club ewww and ahhh probably the first three rounds he will buzz (not ***** street buzz) but catch the attention of Margarito, However Pacquiao supporters will see that as a sign of an inevitable stoppage in favor of their man.
after the third round, I beleive it will be noticable that Margarito can take these shots and reality will soon then set in for pac fans, a war will break out, Margarito will slow down the quicker manny pacquiao and stop him late round 9
from there ESB is going to become a dump site loaded with Mayweather supporters and Margarito haters trash talking, while the Pacquiao fans will go back to Mannys forum and conduct their business there.
