Margo was the man of the moment not long ago. He has as a considerable size advantage and is very strong.

However, he is slow and easy to hit so will inevitably get battered.

 

AM, has a chance if he uses his size and pressure in the fight.

 

His best chance imo, is to break Pacquiao's rhythm to the point where he (Pac) gets away from what he should be doing.

 

You know it's an error, I wrote it right once, and wrong the other. It happens. Margo's style is tailor made for Pacman, so please don't tell me if Cotto looked bad on defense, because Margo gets hit every round, by virtually every opponent, and a superior opponent like Pacquiao will not have problems landing. So your "Styles make Fights" doesn't work here.

I voted for 10% chance. It depends on how much you buy into the "pac is sick, pac isnt focused, pac is getting destroyed in sparring" rumors that are out pretty much every fight but he always kicks ass on fight night. I think they are all bull**** rumors, Im not buying it.

But if I am wrong then maybe margo gets lucky. Margo looks like a beast now BUT he hasnt beaten anyone good in 2 years and strategy wise he is pretty much looking to see if he can break Pac's hands with his face which hasnt worked for anyone else so far.

 

Yes it applies in every fight, but not in the way you are saying it will happen. Margo can't win by just chasing. A below average fighter like Cintron put good connects numbers on the rematch, yes he lost. An average fighter like Cotto puts even better connects on Margo, yes he lost but a lot of controversy sorrounds that fight(even though I really still think Margo won clean). An elite opponent like Mosley puts up higher number connects than the other two, so the faster his opponent is, the worst he will look on defense. Just a few combinations by Pacquiao in the first minute will prove me right(that doesn't mean an early stoppage, but it could mean a 12-0 sweep).

Although I'm giving the edge to Pac, Margarito has a decent chance of winning this and a Pac loss is one of the best things that could happen to boxing right now(for a lot of reasons).

 

If you read you understand, but it appear you didn't read. Cintron is a below average fighter, or you think that two fights with Margo, a clear gift draw against Martinez and a win against the overrated Angulo makes him a legit contender, yes he fought excellent against the hypejob for only 4 rounds, but Cintron is beatable, he simply doesn't fight the names out there and that's why he is still living as a name. Cotto is an average fighter, he won titles against Pinto(please who is he), Quintana(queen for a night), Jennings(OMG) and Foreman(respectable opponent but not like Martinez), anyone can make a living with that. His big fights, not that big, he won against Mosley but I expected him to retire Mosley that night, but his bad defense kept Mosley alive and almost beat Cotto in the end(Cotto 115-113 on my scorecard if you're wondering). Judah was a dead man walking, coming of lopsided losses to Baldo and PBF, also a NC 1 in the previous fight, I can take it. Margo, he fought great but everyone knew if he kept the pace he was using(which he kept that pace) he'll lose, and got a TKO loss. Clottey, they just gave him the nod to fight Pacquiao, and with Pacquiao we know how bad Cotto did after the 2nd round.
