Does Margarito have a chance?

This. I'm not saying Pac will come out and KTFO Margo extra early on in the fight or anything. He will simply be too much for Margo and I don't see it being too competitive. I don't know if he has it in him to KO Margo, might get stoppage from the ref though... Not sure if I call TKO or UD yet. :think

 

To be honest only Cotto II could have been worse.

The bottom line is, Margarito doesnt deserve this...and NOT just for the plaster disgrace. He was KTFO in his last big fight and hasnt fought seriously for a 20 months +

Another thing is...when Pac wins, and Floyd still doesnt want to fight, then WHO is an acceptable next opponant? And it CANT be Cotto again (as much as i like Cotto)

 

Very good question there isnt much left for him berto and Alexander are not exactly something that would sell to the public, However weather Margarito deserves this or not thats irrelevent the fight is here, if he wins big things happen for the sport, he rematchs pacquiao or moves on to a cotto rematch to unify, then on to a Martinez rematch should Martinez get past Williams...

All I can say is this, if there is anything left Pacquiao is NOT stopping him... Margarito took some Bombs from Williams shots that should have sent his ass down and he still was able to adjust and close the distance to make it more to his style of a fight....
I honestly Do not beleive Manny is winning this fight.... I just dont...
I could be wrong and please let me be wrong if thats the case, but at the same time there is nothing that I see here that makes me think mismatch.
if anything I can see Margarito getting ****ed on the cards... but even in that sense that too can bring us fight #2

If he was fighting Floyd, the *****s would be praising Floyd for Margarito giving Williams hell, for having one of the best chins in boxing, and being the bigger man. Margarito has nothing to lose and his chin can't be questioned, there ain't no plaster there. I admire Margarito's heart, he's never been one of my favs, but alot of you need to realise most fighters trust their trainers like if they were father figures so there is the possibility that Marg actually didn't know. Either way, I don't think he's laying down for anyone from 154lbs on down. I think he can punch just as hard as Pacman or Mosley for that matter, but his punches don't get there as fast. Pacman should win, but if he shows just abit of fatigue or needs some downtime, and Margarito senses him taking a break, Margarito has a great chance to pummel or break down Pacman. Another important thing. Margarito isn't past his prime. He's fought at 147 more times than Pacman has and catchweight or not it might even be an adv for Margarito. To think Margarito doesn't have a chance is nonsense.
