I could see a case either way, really. Tyson's divisional dominance is hard to challenge, but Marquez's performances against such quality of opposition throughout 4 weight classes is pretty impressive.

He was the baddest man on the planet for quite some time... Also, don't forget how much Tyson did for boxing commercially.

Prime Mike Tyson = fiercest heavyweight of all time bar none. Atg power, speed and accuracy...the guy had it all.

-Marquez drew, lost, and lost to Pac. If it's all about how we think the fight happened I think Tyson KO'd Douglas in Round 8.
-Williams, Lewis, and McBride losses all came well past prime.
    -Second Holyfield loss was DQ

Marquez is a great fighter and one of the best of this era. But let's not get carried away.

Mike Tyson beats the living suitcase out of Wlad.
That much is certain, it would be a short fight and theres
no way Wlads chin holds up - because we know Tyson would be tapping it.

An arguement could be made for Vitali, as he is a tough son of a *****
and if he weathered the storm, then a win isnt out of the question.
A prime Tyson is a menace of a fighter for anyone though.

I think Tyson over Marquez, longevity might see Marquez nudge him
out though if he can get a couple more wins against highly rated types.

Not a chance that Marquez ranks above Tyson as far as all time greats.

    Why? Cause he's a heavyweight?
