Does Marquez' victory last night make him the greatest Mexican fighter since Chavez?

I said capable, JCC wasnt exactly the greatest technician and size would play a factor in it but marquez might be able to squeek a decision but thats just a pure guess. of course JCC would be favourite, but to say JMM would have no chance? its boxing, everyone has a chance!

But going back on topic, Marquez is the best since Chavez

    Yeah.

Most people believe Pacquiao is the better fighter than Chavez.

JMM, in most people's eyes, has won two of three fights with Pacquiao, one at welter while Pac was P4P #1.

People are ******ed if they don't think JMM could beat Chavez in a mythical fantasy match.

Dude if anything Chavez in his prime was an underrated technician. You need to watch him in his prime you probably only watched him vs Oscar or Tszyu fights. Emmanuel Steward said he was surprised how technical Chavez was in the gym and one of the best if not THE best technician he'd ever seen. He wasn't just a top brawler remember he only got clearly beaten close to his prime by one of the greatest lightweights ever in Whitaker. Jcc had Jmms combination punching with Mannys aggression. He had alot of bobbing and weaving in his prime too. There was much much more to Jcc than just a livershot.

    Possibly.

He's only a few rungs below Pac, who imo following closer examination of his most recent fights and opponents, has dropped on an all time list.

    JMM top 60-ish.

    Pac top 50-ish.
