Pacman has never fought anybody with the speed & savy of PBF, I think frustration will eventually get to paquioa & the counterpuching and accuracy of Mayweather takes out the highly skilled but overmatched paquioa in a late rd KO.

I could see that happening. At the same time, I don't think Pacman is worried too much about what Mayweather did to Marquez. It just seems to me that Pacman has the great ability not to over-analyze things and just shows up to fight his heart out everytime.

    Im sure it has.
It would affect anyone. A guy that even journalist in ur country think beat you fought the guy u are about to fight and got dominated. I mean shut out 12-0.

That has to be in the back of ur head.

I doubt it. When Marquez fought Manny, it was at a comfortable weight for Marquez. Marquez went up in weight to fight Floyd and it's obvious the weight increase hurt Marquez. Meanwhile, Pac has looked great at WW (unlike Marquez). What weight are Pac and Floyd fighting at? ;) :deal

Maybe, but maybe Pac's destruction of Hatton and Cotto has Mayweather worried also.I think Pac's power has improved as he went up in weight so he probably feels that he can catch floyd sooner of later

I dont see how it could

Pacquiao clearly beat Marquez twice before Mayweather got to him

Probably, but I know Mayweather Sr. was very worried after the Cotto fight, he can't believe that Pac was able to take the shots and walk Cotto.

he surely noticed that it was not the same jmm that he fought and/or he realized that he was not the same fighter himself at 130 when he fought jmm. of course he is aware that floyd is that good but he mentioned back after watching floyd-jmm, that he can "reach" (kayang abutin) floyd when he said that jmm cannot tag (walang panama) floyd. pac knows floyds strenght but he knows he can beat him when we all are thinking that floyd has almost every bit of advantage we can think of.

I have to admit, as a pacfan, watching Mayweather's performance against Marquez gave me doubts about Pac's chances against him. You gotta remember though, no way was that Marquez's weight. PBF I feel would beat him anyway, he's just a better fighter p4p but that performance still made the difference in quality between Marquez and PBF look bigger than it actually is.

He was sensational though, what a ****ing talent and Pac has a problem to deal with. PBF though, also has a problem in Pac and has never faced anyone like that either. That's what makes this fight so interesting. If Mayweather runs and runs, it still won't be a boring fight because it will still be interesting to see if Pac can catch him up. They are two completely different styles and its gonna be fascinating to see which one comes out on top whether there is action or not.

I think this is a tough one to call. My early prediction is that Pac will win this fight but I won't give a proper breakdown of the fight untill it's closer to fight time but I think power could be the decider.

To those who thinks Pac wins by KO, even early on. I don't think this is nuthuggery. PBF has started slow in the past and he can start slow in this fight. Destiny don't mean ****. This may be a "superfight" but it doesn't mean it'll neccesarily be an epic. It has the potential to end early like any other fight. Some fools on here seem to think that because there is so much demand for this ****, God will make sure it's an epic 12 rounder which will be super close, with someone getting knocked out with only a few seconds remaining. Pac has power in both hands and if he catches him clean early on, anything is possible, although I think it's highly unlikely.

Sure. Not to mention the fits that Marquez gave Pacquiao, and the fact that Mayweather does everything JMM does better + more.

I forgot to add earlier, the Pacquiao that faced Marquez was a lesser fighter to this Pacquiao. It may have only been in 2008 but anyone can see the changes made. If PBF fought De la Hoya at his own weight, then you can also say that Pac fought Marquez at his own weight.

Pacquiao never shows doubt. Even when fighting Marquez he never appeared to be discouraged. Also he evolves and causes problems for everyone at 147 especially Floyd because of his great stamina, endurance, and workrate.
