So beating Morales, Tapia and Ayala makes you an atg :rofl:rofl. Where would you rank him then? Give me a number.

Not to antagonize your comments or to antagonize Floyd, but Pacquiao right now is about 10 rounds short of boxing 400 rounds. And you just argued 1. 300 rounds takes a huge toll on a fighter, and 2. Pacquiao is still in his prime, despite fighting nearly 400 rounds to this point. Please be consistent. Even if looking at rounds alone were a good metric to evaluate how far from their prime fighters were, you'd be wrong in saying Pacquiao is in his prime.

Regardless, most people won't deny that both fighters are out of their prime. The fact that they're still better than anyone else speaks to how good they are and second to how weak the competition is. Pacquiao being P4P #2 in his division doesn't mean he's in his prime.

So that's a direct correlation, now? :yep Keep moving those goalposts and bending logic to suit.

Also, no, I'm happily broke. ;) (and whatever your bank statement might say, you're poorer in spirit than me if you're that insecure you need to go bragging about it on an internet forum)

You confuse bragging with belittling you. You are the one who brought it up not me.

Barrera wasn't a prime atg when he fought Pac. He was a great fighter. ATG fighters aren't called atg's until after their careers are over. Floyd has beaten everyone...something rare in boxing.

Not a clear convincing prime ATG, but several quite close.

    Corrales was an excellent win.

Oscar, an ATG, was not so far from prime.

Canelo could well become an ATG. (he's done a fair bit for a 24 year old.)

Marquez (with an admitted asterisk) was at or near prime and is a bona fide ATG

Ricky Hatton was a very decent win.

If he beats Pac, that will be another ATG scalp, past best but probably no more so than Floyd himself at this stage.

Oscar was a good 6-7 years past his best. Even just watching that fight vs floyd, compared to his late 90s fights is a pretty severe difference, mostly his speed and explosiveness very diminished albeit at the heavier weight. but Oscar peaked like 97-2001, slowly started to decline after that. In the Mosley 2 fight on 03 he was still pretty sharp and fast, but the second he moved up to middle, it was over for him. He should have left boxing after the Mayorga fight.

Junior Jones beat a closer to his prime Marco Antonio Barerra than did Pacquiao.

Fact is, the Diego Corrales that Mayweather beat @ 130 would have beat the **** out of the MAB who Pacquiao beat...

I'm sorry but losing TWICE to Junior Jones is an issue for Barerra. If the Pacquiao crowd are going to go on and on about Pacquiao having beaten an in-his-prime ATG in Barerra then it should be noted that Junior Jones TWICE beat a better version of Barerra.

Having said that, Barerra's best win, IMO, is the third Morales fight - a fight in which I saw Morales easily outboxing Barerra until a brawl broke out...
