To be fair, there weren't really any real ATGs floating around besides Pacquiao.

 

Actually I always wonder what would have happened to Williams at WW had he not been forced to go all the way up to MW to find fights.

Would he have been an ATG if given the opportunity to clean out Cotto, Shane, and Mayweather and not just Margarito? Sadly we will never know.

Can you name one ATG in his prime that floyd should have fought. When guys like DLH, mosley etc were at their prime Floyd was fairly new to the sport and several weight classes below them. When guys like Barrera, Morales, etc were in their prime they were several weight classes below floyd, there was never really any demand for those fights, them coming up in weight would have immidiatly rendered them not prime.

Pacquiao is really the only guy that made any sense and I garantee you if Floyd had fought him earlier people would have still complained that it wasn't his best weight.
