The raheem fight is above 130. Morales after beating pac was ill prepared for that fight that he didn't even made weight. Morales has no business fighting above 130.

Yes that's the point. His body, like an NFL running back his body just had enough and he went from great to shot very quickly.

And yet you maintain this didn't happen to his body after countless wars, including three epics with Barrera? It was only Manny who could break him? I see.

I am well aware that Morales is greater than Corrales. Nothing in that post says otherwise. I said that I don't see why Pacquiao beating a recently defeated, much-battered Morales on the slide is more impressive than Mayweather destroying a prime, undefeated Corrales. There comes a point where an all-time great is no longer as good as a fighter who could not previously have held his jockstrap.

It was the accumulation. You don't see running backs break down after 1 season in their career. It occurs over numerous seasons.

Morales had been through hell and back in the ring. Manny was just one of the fights.

The fight with raheem as I said happened above 135 and morales was ill prepared by virtue of not making weight. This happened after a big win over pacquiao and morales got complacent.

The rematch with pacquiao is another classic that was dead even after the first six rounds until pac's investment on the body paid off and slowed morales until he stopped him. No one has ever done that again even with morales going up several divisions after retiring.

Even a beast in maidana could not stop a shot morales. It took some years later for a puncher like garcia to stop morales again. At his prime or close to it, morales was unstopabble and only pacquiao pulled that feat off.

Corrales was NOT 'Elite' by any stretch of the imagination.

That's the question YOU need to answer. What 130lb'er did Barrera beat?

^^^Morales was past his prime when he first fought pacquiao. The reason morales beat pacquiao are 2 things, 1 pac was forced to wear winning gloves which is the lightest gloves in boxing (for that alone is the reason pac left his old promoter and join with top rank) and 2 cause pac took morales way too lightly.

I mean look at the rematch when pac wear his reyes gloves, he ko morales.

Maidana couldnt ko a shot morales because maidana just like with pacquiao was forced to wear winning gloves.

Garcia didnt ko morales in the first fight cause he had to wear winning gloves but in the rematch garcia was allow to wear reyes gloves and what u know? Garcia ko Morales.

^^^Really? Then barrera wasnt really prime when he fought pacquiao in the first fight since barrera got ko badly by junior jones. <<Think about it it was barrera 60 pro fights which he fought jones twice, morales twice, fought hamed, fought shot decline tapia all before the first pacquiao fight. It's like saying Whitaker was still prime when he fought De la hoya.

You can say all you want about after facing pacquiao that barrera beat morales in the 3rd fight but besides beating a past prime morales, barrera hasnt look like a prime. He look absolutely bad vs Rocky twice which the first fight most thought Rocky won and the rematch barrera fought scared by running and holding too much. Barrera got out boxed in a clear decision lost to Marquez.
