He doesnt throw many combinations because he fears being countered. As a result his knock out percentage isnt that high.In a way It works for him because he doesnt get involved in exchanges but it's a weakness all the same
I don't think he fears being countered. But he is cautious of being countered. There's a subtle difference. For example we know that if you push mayweather into a fight, he will dig deep and fight back. In my opinion floyd has always got a plan B and has a more aggressive style he can revert to if needs be. We saw this in the Judah fight, when he can easily go on the front foot and pressure. The problem is that not many opponents push him to Plan B.
His real weakness is he never fights anyone when there hot. (in great form) LIKE IT OR NOT He ducks them . That is a fact.
His weakness? He seems to be very aware of who is a tough fighter and who isn't, and he has avoided the tough fights. I think if he is ever hit clean and wobbled against a real finisher that he might not recover well. I don't think Shane will stop him. Floyd will win a UD.
Yeah cuz Diego Corrales, Castillo, Genaro Hernandez, Chavez, Famoso, Manfredy, and a 154lb DLH were all a bunch of hand picked cherry picks eh! :rofl What a bunch of soft touches those wimps were.
Everyone has a weakness but who can expose tha weakness. You need a fighter who can cut off the ring well and pressure him with a volume of punches with accuracy. Which is easier said then done.
i think most people know his weaknesses...cus he has a couple...its just hard to expose them because he is so smart in the ring he often forces the opponent to stray away from their pre fight plan....forcing them to try and adapt but unfortunately its not many fighters who can adapt as fast or are that versatile to do so...it takes a special fighter.
