he looked sharper vs marquez than when he fought ortiz,:bbb And cotto is no ortiz or marquez.. so can he really stop cotto. I think it will got 10-9 for 12 rounds with cottos face marked and swollen.

    Any different thoughts.:think

He has the accuracy to, dont think he will win by ko though. He will beat him up in the later rounds and probably win a UD. Cotto will fair will for the 1st 4 but I think mayweather takes over and wins a 117-11 type decision.

Not at this weight. If he stops Miguel, it will be on cuts.

He has the accurate hits to wear him down and then try to K.O him with a flurry. But can't see it happening even with lighter gloves. Probably be a UD, could get a TKO but cotto will go on the run before that happens

    No. Not at this weight.

Besides Ortiz, I think Floyd hasn't stopped anyone since he was in his 20's, Right?

History has shown that "Cotto is no Marquez".

Marquez is a much better fighter.

Yes, Marquez is a lot more technically superior. Cotto makes to many mistakes. marquez stays behind his shoulder, throws his punches, and gets back behind it keeping him in a good defensive position. Cotto bends foward and reahes with his punches, his chin past his knee (which i a big mistake) and squares up when hes done punching. Also he gets caught on the end of punches when he backpeddles like he does.

Without an Ortiz stoppage it'd of been, what? Seven years without a stoppage?

As Floyd goes up in weight his power decreases. This is a fact.

He was a murderous puncher @ 130 and it's gradually diminished as he risen through the weight classes.
