Does Mayweather in the 40's/50's accrue 10+ losses?

    Got it. Yeah, it's hard to imagine Mayweather ever fighting that many fights, if that's what the other poster meant by his analogy.

    He couldn't get away with 50 fights in 20 years in that era, he'd be known as "No Money".

    Mayweather's a stand-out fighter for his era but he'd be just another fighter in the 40s and 50s.

    Can anyone name me a great fighter from that era at 130-147 lbs who had 150+ fights and suffered less than 10 losses?

    And no, you can't be popular and highly paid at that time fighting 2-3 times per year

    Spot on post for me !! .... and with 150 + fights with brittle hands, I see a lot more losses than just 10... imo.. And I'm not trying to take anything way from Floyd. Brittle hands is just something he has which is completely out of his control. The things that he could control, he was a master at.
