I cant even see him in my top 15.
This is odd, he was unbeaten...
But he just doesnt touch my top 10 or 15 atg at all. Hell, I would throw duran over mayweather in a heartbeat.
    Anyone els feel this way?

No fighters in todays generation will ever crack the Top 15. Past greats are on a higher pedistool.

Nope not in my top 15, but easily had the ability to be. PBF may even have had the ability to be arguably the greatest. He took the easy path though, and no all-time great takes the easy path.

He could've been an ATG but we all know why he's not.

I always try not to swear on here, but this is the stupidest ****ing comment I have ever heard in my life. I wish whoever runs this site would boot this cretin out and ban them.

    WHY WHY WHY?????????????

For what reason are 'they' on a higher pedestal? Why are you on a boxing website, that is set up to cover current boxing? Why bother with it if nothing to do with it is as good as 'them old days'? OK WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, HBO, Golden Boy, it's time to stop boxing, we've all decided for some reason it can never be as good as them old days so there's just no point in going on. Let's all go get jobs at McDonalds and talk about how great Carmen Basilio and Ingemar ****ing Johansson were until we die.

Roy Jones Jr doesn't crack the top 15??? The purest form of bull**** known to man. Do you even like boxing?

Yeah I feel the same way. If I were to rank him I'd put him at around 40, that's not to say he wasn't a great fighter though. However I do rank him #1 at 130lb's.

Who said I agree with it?

PS: Mayweather would definitely be top 50 P4P, maybe top 30, but I don't think even top 20. Even of his own generation (say the early 90s til now) I don't think he was as good as Roy Jones Jr, Pernell Whitaker, Julio Cesar Chavez, Bernard Hopkins or Manny Pacquiao, and it's debatable if he was as good as Evander Holyfield, James Toney, Marco Antonio Barrera, Oscar De La Hoya, Lennox Lewis, Felix Trinidad, Erik Morales, Shane Mosley, or Ricardo Lopez.

Agree with what, yourself? You said past greats were on a higher pedestal. Do you agree with yourself or not?

No I completely disagree with that statement and I agree with what you say, it's about here and now, not back then.

When it comes to ranking past greats, on this board and others past fighters are held in such high regard it's almost impossible to compare without being called an idiot or stupid for even trying to compare Duran and Mayweather.

Or Roy Jones with Spinks or Foster.

mayweather is easily a top 50 atg... you have to look clearly and compare those people in the top 15, and why it is that hard to put guys like mayweather beside them.

floyd top 3 atg easily. no fighter of the modern era has done what he did:deal jones, leonard, hearns, duran..none of them could win 5 title in 5 weight classes while remaining undefeated.

only someone who doesn't like floyd would ignore this accomplishment:hey
