Yeah, Oscar was tired... of getting countered by right hands

The crowd and Hopkins can shout all they want about Oscar throwing the jab. They aren't the one's in there seeing thing's as they hapen

Oscar wasn't doing anything with the jab in the beginning of the fight either. Watch that fight again, and find a round outside of the 7th and the 8th where he was really effective with that jab.

well fellas again if he makes it look this easy in the ring and if this is the case. That he cant adapt to any style with doing any serious homework, these other fighters with losses ( SSM,MP) have almost no chance.

... but the thing was, Oscar just stopped throwing it for no reason.

Oscar could have put this fight in his favor if he just continued with the jabbing followed with those wicked hooks.

So we are supposed to believe that Oscar voluntarily didn't jab for 10 of the 12 rounds even though it supposedly would've secured him the victory? A veteran fighter who is an excellent fighter did this? That doesn't sound very plausable to me.

It seems to me the majority of people think, and this makes the most sense, is that SOMEBODY is watching film and relaying it back to Floyd to form a game plan. Because a boxer would be better off training for a fight, and someone else on the team could be studying tape. Makes sense to me.

apparently so, but it seems to me a fighter would be more effective studying film from a 1st person rather than 3rd. And if he is this Dominate without doing all the homework that spells lots of trouble for any other fighter because so far Camp Mayweather is absolutely FLAWLESS!!

Mayweather is a lying ass! Specifically to sit down and watch fights over and over? Maybe not, but he watches tons of fights. He especially watches fights of guys in his division/divisions.

He says he doesn't, and we know Roger does religiously, so I don't see a reason to disbelieve him. It's possible that he does, though, I suppose.

That said, he obviously watches the big fights as they happen as a fan of the sport, so it's not as if he NEVER watches boxing. He just doesn't analyze tape leading into his fights.

Biggest myth in the sport. Oscar's jab was neutralized. His jab is one of his favourite punches. He wouldn't "forget" or "for some reason" not throw it.

So no one believes Floyd when he says he doesn't watch film of his opponent(even though many fighters don't), but we're supposed to believe Oscar when he says "it just wasn't the night of the jab"?
