Mexico or the real Mexicans don't see the Mexican-Americans as part of them. The Mexican-Americans wave the Mexican Flag feeling all proud but in reality, in Mexico, no one gives a sh.it about them. Do you really think people from Mexico would accept Mike Alvarado, who can't even speak Spanish, as a true "Mexican"? Or Rios/Ortiz/ who speak spanish all fu.cked. up?

The real Mexican fighters are Canelo, Chavez Jr., Marquez etc...boxers that were born in Mexico.

Alot of that is not true. It all depends on how deep the individual boxers cling
to their roots. Margartio and Vargas were both born here and they were
accepted because they spoke Spanish and always wore their culture on their sleeves.

Mares is a great fighter that just got caught, it happens. Homey schooled Moreno and that ain't no joke. Plus, to mention if Mares does secure a rematch with Gonzalez in the near future, I'm 100% confident Abner wins a very comfortable decision. Dude just got caught it could happen to anyone, but he will definitely fight a lot smarter if he gets a second chance.

Imo the best young Mexican fighters in order are;

1. Leo Santa Cruz
2. Abner Mares
3. Mikey Garcia
4. Miguel Vazquez
5. Saul Alvarez
6. JCC Jr. (the only reason this guy is on the list taking away some other kids spot who is actually a good fighter is because of the name. This entitled soon to be train-wreck is, and always will be a sub elite level fighter, but his name will take him far. Despite the numerous losses he will receive, whenever his team has him try to step up and fight the elite. Worst case of all hype, making money off his fathers reputation I've ever seen.)
