Does Miguel Cotto have your damn respect now?

Always had respect for him.

 

If u just started respecting cotto after last saturday then you dont **** about boxing. Cotto has always been great.

 

Cotto has one of the best resumes of any active fighter alive today. His defeats came to 3 very different fighters, (1 which was avenged) all who are regarded as the very best or very avoided. Margarito at the time nobody wanted to fight him and Cotto stepped up. Floyd and Pac are argueably the best fighters on the planet. The fact that people say he is not an elite fighter because these are the only 2 fighters he has REALLY lost two is ignorant. So I guess we have only had two Elite fighters from 140-154 in the past 10 years.

He never lost my respect, I just don't believe he has ever been an elite fighter at 147 nor 154.

Its got so bad that we are now rating fighters according about how good they looked losing to the best in the sport. This is because fans have built up mayweather and pac too much. Who have vulnerabilities and are not as great as are hyped up to be.

Cotto deserves praise but mayweather should have beaten him more convincingly and it's his skills that are under some question

 

How can anyone have no respect for Cotto even before the Mayweather fight.

 

Sick, hurt hand, fighting at a higher weight and Mayweather's been hit more in previous fights, so....
