    I believe Tyson was the most skillful heavyweight of all-time due to Rooney and Cus and that he would have destroyed Dempsey, but could he have beat a proven great like Ali and could his ability to finish be compared to Liston`s?

    Why putting Dempsey along with Liston into same category as Ali :confundio1:

    What brings "1 fight title defense Sonny Liston", who was 10-15lb heavier than the guys he fought, into same boat as Tyson?

    I took it to mean neither 3 of them are in Ali's league. And I agree.

    I think Tyson is in Ali's league, but not a pennant winner. Dempsey and Liston, IMO, would have no chance.

    Dempsey doesn't belong in that league. And Ali is in his own league.... maybe only occupied by one other, Joe Louis.

    Tyson said Liston was the only fighter he saw that could have intimidated him if they had been in the same era and Liston was as good at finishing opponents as Tyson and Dempsey were.
