A lot rides on his next fight. but I want people to put their neck on the line and give their opinion now. as it stands does mosley still have it?

by that i dont necessarily mean is he 100% of what peak mosley is. I mean is he still an elite level fighter who you'd favour over top competitors.

there is an argument he could still be prime. margo was in my eyes a career best performance. same with hopkins, the way he performed vs pavlik who'd say he isn't still prime.

then again people bring up age and the mayorga fight(which btw i thought he did well in)

so what is it. does mosley still have it? is he elite level, or is he just an hard hitter with a punchers chance?

personally i think berto will make him look reallllllllllllyyyy old and will dominate him.

He is not prime, but he still has it. Right now I give him at 50/50 agaisnt Pac and thats way better than most fighters in their prime.

I think he definetly is still elite, he can still hold his own, and with brother Naz in his corner (which was way overdue) he can definetly be competitive in all his near future bouts win or lose. With that being said, the Margarito fight IMO was impressive, but slightly overrated because of the circumstances and styles of the fighters

I think people are giving him too much credit for beating Margarito. Yes, that was a hell of a thing to do but Margo was there to be hit all night. He could beat Berto but its a pick 'em fight.

The last few years he has shown that he is still one of the best out there. 2 dominant wins over a bigger Vargas and of course the horrifying KO over another larger opponet in Mayorga throw in a dominant shutout over the top 10 Luis Collazo and a ATG beatdown over the # 1 Margarito at the time and IMO beat Cotto (close fight) this is pre Pac-Margarito verison of Cotto.

I don't know. He looked great against Margarito, but Margo was made for him. He's getting old, had a year off and looked poor against Mayorga.

Berto has a real chance, but I still favour Mosley. Of course he is past prime but he is still an elite fighter.

Mayorga came in at 170 so that didnt exactly help things considering he clinched Mosley a good 90 times. Doesnt matter though cause guys have off nights, Mosley had one and still scored a brutal knockout.

I refuse to vote as nobody knows if he has it or not. Shane did pretty well against Margarito and he was not expected to... He was not pleasing at all against Mayo but Mayo is a spoiler in the first place. Berto is a young gun and tremendously skilled so what are we gonna say? That we were right and Shane was to be beat by Berto or that we were not right and Shane had a last breath ( or that Berto was always s***)? BS! Nobody can say by their last performances...

Honestly I am not quite sure if he still has "IT" so to speak, but he has enough, and thats all it takes to get a win over Berto
