dont like people dissin ya favourite fighter eh?

listen i have huge respect for mosley, he has had a lot of tough fights. but berto is quick and strong, and as i've said i think mosley is now past it. no point gettin aggressive, we'll see in a few week who is right

Mosley is clearly not as good as he once was and anyone who has followed his career knows he has been in decline for sometime now. With said he would still give anyone at 147 a good fight.

it could be argued he was never really a LMW, if you remove his LMW era he hasnt yet had a bad performance

He's not a prime Mosley, but he is elite. I expect him to stop Berto. If Berto beats Mosley in dominant fashion, that would change my opinion.

Not to mention he wasn't facing pushovers at 154lbs as it was. Mosley can still compete at the elite level at 147lbs.

MOsley "had it" against Margarito. How the hell would i know if he still have it now...
    Ask after the fight.

he can compete against the right type of fighter. i'd favour him against cotto and clottey, campbell and bradley. them kind of solid type fighters. but against a quick slick fighter like floyd pac or berto, i only give him a punchers chance. whereas mosley of old would be a heavy favourite against berto

Shane Mosley is an outstanding fighter. He is one of the best WW today, BUT he is still just a shadow of what he once was.

Says more about the skill level in the WW class today.

with his power he will have enough to beat anyone. but that relies on him landing his big hooks.

I rewatched the Margarito fight and the mayorga fight and he looked really sloppy in both, a bit less in the Margarito fight. Hope he didn't get "old" overnight. Posting from my phone so excuse me.

I understand the point of making prediction but I just don't know how the long layoff and age will affect Mosley.

I think that the Mosley that beat Margarito and almost beat Cotto should beat Berto.

Your question is "Does Mosley still have it?"

My answer is: I don't know.

Ps berto does not possess any of the qualities of mosleys weaknesses. (bigger guy, strong jab, effective boxer) the only thing he has is speed which mosley has seen before. Mosley tko 7th round
