If I were a boxer I'd love to be trained by that man, the same guy who trained Finito Lopez and Marquez bros. Thing is I'm not Mexican and can't speak spanish. Does Nacho train exclusively for Mexican boxers?

Why would he turn you down if you have potential to be something great?

I think the language barrier is the thing that keeps him from getting other fighters.

Freddy has been training pac for a while now, When they first started Pacs english wasnt near as good as it is now, I wonder how that worked out, He used to have a translator in the corner inbetween rounds didnt he?

That's pretty much Buboy's job. But Pac doesn't need it as much as before.

Its hard to learn from a coach when you cant understand him. I would assume the language barrier is why all his fighters are mexican or chicano

Read an article recently and he trains fighters daily at La Romanza gym in Mexico City. You would probably have to move there and train at his gym.

Speaking of language barriers, does JCC Jr. know any English? Or does Ariza have to pull double duty?

If you move to Mexico and pay your dues at his gym he will train you. It's no different than working out at other gyms. Year round most boxers train themselves or don't work out until they have a fight scheduled. When a big fight comes up they hook up with a trainer at the trainers gym for a training camp and pay them a percentage of their purse for the fight. If you are successful then you will get more attention from the trainer and better hours. Almost all trainers are working with fighters through out the day for their upcoming bouts. You don't have a fight then they hardly will work with you.

Example: Gym I used to work out. Double the monthly fee for non-pro boxers because they are just taking up space and time for pro-boxers. Since it costs to train at the gym, most fighters wait until scheduled fight to train at the gym. Most will keep in shape one way or another though.
