No. I think he underestimates the power of Peden's shot. It hit him flush, even granite-jawed people can be hurt when caught absolutely flush, Hagler, Monzon etc etc always deflected blows off of their iron heads.

Look at Margarito. Iron chin, caught flush, all over.

Campbell has a very good chin, as proven in subsequent fights.

Nate was being about as stupid as you can that night.

One of the funniest KO's I've ever seen though.

 

The Margarito comparison is ridiclious.

Antonio probably endured about 30 flush right hands in that fight, and I testify even now, any Welterweight in the last 15 years would have been stopped if subjected to that kind of punishment from Shane. I dare say Antonio would have even got back up if the referee didn't wave it off. True warrior.

Nate was hit with one shot, and he went down, and couldn't get back up.

 

You clearly know nothing of boxing or fighting if you even ask this question. If you stick your jaw high in the air (untucked) and let a pro boxer take a free swing you get starched

 

The best example I can think of even a great chin being cracked.

Of course it only took one good shot from Peden to drop Campbell; Nate neither has the chin of Marg nor did Marg drop his hands to his side, relax himself and let Shane take one giant swing.

In the end, Shane hit Marg with lots and lots of precise, heavy, sme choppy, some body shots, and it wore him down. It was just to show Rico that just because someone has been stopped, it doesn't mean they've got a glassjaw.

 

Man that big dude last night landed some peaches on Nate, he had to hold on a couple times, but if he was glass...it would have shattered.

Some people are complaining about the decision in that fight, but it was right IMO. Nate had the dude down twice and on Q-Street a gang of times. Dude took some of the mid rounds, but he was in the hole from the KD's anyways...so I don't see it.

The draw in Cintron's fight is a damn disgrace though.

I hate Nate winning on points but a draw on rounds. Either way there was no "good" decision last night in that fight. Even if Funeka was given the fight, it'd still be hard to justify it.

:huh..I'm not sure what your askin', my man? I don't remember exact rounds if that's what you want to know, but surely you agree that Nate knocked him down 2 times, no? Both of those being near the end of the round and Nate had no time to capitalize.

Later in the fight, Nate had him buzzed a couple times, but ended up just having to hold on a little cause his own tank was running out.

PS> I am neutral on that fight. So if your a Funeka fan, I'm not out to push your buttons....IMO, Funeka is def. somebody to watch for in the future. IMO, the Cintron verdict was ****, Nate's was OK.
