A tremendously exciting fighter who beat barkley, mcclellan and lets be honest Eubank in their second fight. But he also had lots of weaknesses: Is he HOF worthy?

    Without a doubt yes.
one of my all time favourite fighters. the guy was a ****ing animal. he could scare you through the tv.
Never had a **** fight and was involved in some all time classics.
    He is a ****ing legend.

Without a shadow of a doubt

He remains one of Britains most talked about boxers years after his retirement

As far I am concerned it is a slam dunk and he should be in the HOF. People confuse HOF with being an ATG but the standard for HOF is slightly different.

Yes, he is one of the Brit's faves and if we had to choose a fighter that epitomises British boxing he would be top of the list.

I'd be very disappointed if he never made it. He was involved in some terrific fights, had the heart of an absolute warrior and his record is pretty good. The standard for HOF induction is fairly low and I'd be shocked if Nigel was to be left out.

Yep, his fight with McClellan is one of the best I've ever seen, was just extremely unfortunate it ended in the way it did. :-(

    Yeah that fight was unbelievable.
Its a shame that ended the way it did it made the fight a bit of a tabboo subject and it is not seen for the fight that it was between 2 warriors it is just remembered for the tragety at the end.

Benn should get in way before a guy like Hamed gets in.

Anybody who says Benn aint HOF does not in any way understand the HOF system. Also they clearly are not real boxing fans or have an agenda.
