Does Oleksandr Usyk deserve his title fight against Anthony Joshua?

Usyk is a ****ING GANGSTA! Of course he deserves a title shot!!!!

 

I can not weigh in on is it fair, would have to give it a lot of thought.

I do know I would rather see Joshua fight Usyk, than any other boxer right now. I will be cheering on Usyk in that fight.

 

He doesnt deserve it by virtue of what he has done, but by the dearth of contenders. Isn't big Fres about the next in line?

 

Im a usyk fan myself. I feel 50/50 about the him getting the shot. One one side i feel happy he will fight for a title as a usyk fan.

But on the other side i feel if there is any contender out there that deserves a title shot it is whyte during the past the past two years hes been on an impressive run

Haye beat a C class guy in Monte Barret before going straight to Valuev. Yes, 100% Usyk deserves his shot.

 

Yes, he was undisputed CW champ, for me that automatically gives him the right to challenge for the HW crown.

 

I think he does deserve a title shot as a dominant champ in the division below and it's probably also the perfect time,with Wilder and Fury fighting each other and with how poor the division with no other stand out fights for Joshua,with nobody else really deserving it.
Nearly all the heavyweights fighting yesterday had a chance to get the next shot but none of them really did anything to warrant getting it,including Ruiz who could have sewn up another big pay day if he had put up a better performance in losing,with a trilogy probably the most like option before yesterdays fights.

 

Wilder beat Scott and Harrison before his title shot lol I’m sure Usyk has done more than that in his career to deserve a shot at whatever he wants.

 

To be fair Wilder earned his title shot by beating Jason Gavern of all people.

 

Jfc christ mark they are top 10 contenders of course he is gonna struggle. No other contender in the heavyweight division is doing what whyte did

 

AJ/Usyk will play out exactly like WK/haye......a track meet with AJ running flickering out the jab and grab and featherfisted Usyk posing in on the outside.....afterwards the Brits will claim it was the FOTC .

 

lots of people have dropped a belt and moved up to fight the champion in the next weight class for that same belt .. which is what hes doing so yes he deserves it. its how it works.
