Does Ortiz have the mind to deal with Mayweather trying to get into his head.

After all Ortiz is being put through ( Trash Talk, Garcia & Rios at fight ect. ) can he stick to his original plan? Or will Floyd get to his head?

I don't think he does have the mind to ignore it. The funny thing is, this is an easy fight for Floyd anyway. He doesn't need to use mindgames.

I think he is in a good place mentally and realises mind games are not worth the effort.

Mind? I don't really know the kid well enough to make a judgement, but I've seen enough to know that he doesn't have the technical ability or skills to defeat Floyd Mayweather, and that's what will ultimately determine the outcome of this fight, nothing else.

Actually I think its better if Ortiz goes in berzerk mode and wins as many early rounds as possible.

Ortiz isnt skilled or good enough to do anything with a plan against mayweather. Hed do better in berzerk mode and wish for the best, try to win the first 6 rounds at least.

In fact, I think a lot of his sub par performences are based on him trying to stick to a game plan....

Hopefully he enters as the crazy axe murderer he was in the berto fight.

He's far too stationary to stand a chance with Floyd, why do you think Floyd picked him? His best performance he suffered 2 knockdowns, that seems to impress people because Berto was so overrated.

Floyd picks the beatable because they want the payday, no doubt about it.

:think Why? He was knocked down multiple times against Andre Berto, and found his wild left hands missing the target more often than not? Floyd Mayweather isn't Andre Berto, he will make this kid miss and punish him with sharp, fast, accurate counters.

As opposed to sticking to a gameplan and getting completely outboxed in every possible way?

Nah, Id rather watch him go berzerk on mayweather. Use his size, strength, activity and youth to try and win as many rounds as possible. He might even find himself being effective with some of the power punches that might find their mark.

If he stays composed and tries to box with mayweather hes just goint to recieve an easy L and a lesson on boxing. Ya, no doubt he will take less punches.... but.... Id prefer berzerk mode.

I think if he goes into a fight with Floyd Mayweather the same way he did against Andre Berto then Ortiz may well get stopped at some point during the fight.

    Better safe than sorry.

I think Ortiz has the mental strength to get through this. He was able to bounce back from his Maidana disaster, that was the real killer.

Not like Floyd NEEDS mind games to beat him.
