Oh please. Oscar won't be that much older. If anything I think Oscar will do better and force Floyd to up his game, which in turn may result in Floyd winning more convincingly. I'm sticking with my original prediction....Oscar TKO :bbb
I gave Oscar around a 35% chance of winning the first time. I give him around a 25-30% chance of winning this time.
Damn, everyone is too caught up in nuthuggin' Floyd right now to answer the question I posted. Cuchalain came closest. The question was about strategy and whether or not Roach employed good/bad strategy vs. what Floyd might have done. We know Oscar is a type of fighter who completely relies on his coaching whereas other fighters can change directions out of nowhere when they see corner is not giving them what they need. If a trainer told Oscar to do a handstand at the end of round 10 he would probably do it. I see fights like these as gameplans and who has the best gameplan. Mosley lost last fight because of this, fighting a dumb fight. Mayweather's genuis comes in being able to switch tactics and I think he would be just as good under any other trainer. Oscar's carreer will always be measured up to who was training him at the time. Floyd Sr. was great for Oscar.
Well, you know guys, not hating on Floyd or anything (cuz I have him as a favorite as well), there is a thing called the left hook Oscar might land. And if he does, if Floyd opens up and trades as he did end of round 12, then Oscar stands a much better chance. I don't think Floyd has been hit by a bomb like that in a long time.
