For sure he does. He doesn't, however, deserve credit for smashing dryed out, shriveled and shrunken, old DLH. That was a farce. I blame DLH 100%, but the win is still meaningless. But here, he dominated a limited, but decent WW.
He deserves credit because he did win the fight. Problem is Pac could of fought a fighter that could of gave him more problems other then Clottey. We all know the reason Clottey was picked was due to his lack of output.
Clottey is nothing but an average fighter and he proved it against Pacquiao. Dude fought scared. He said some things pre fight that definitely hinted he was scared but i ignored them. There is a reason why he wouldn't let his hands go. His chin isn't as good as many people make it out to be. Cotto couldn't see that right hand coming against Clottey and stull won. I'm not gonna hold this against manny but i don't think he deserves much credit.
what im sayin is when Joshua let his hands go he was landing..and Joshua is not a very precise puncher in comparison with floyd...i just think he was exposed as being open for counters more so than say...shane mosley or jmm:thumbsup if the same pacquiao that showed up to fight clottey fights mayweather..floyd would have a field day with counter punching...clottey isnt quick and the few times he did let his hands go he hit manny
This has been addressed.Who should have have fought instead?Everyone else in the WW top 5 aside from him were busy or were Floyd Mayweather Jr and we know why that didn't happen.

2 - 3 years ago, Margarito (most likely with plaster of paris) going life and death against Clottey. Pac is fighting as 122 - 129 lbs then. So you decide if Pac deserves credit.
