Pac detractors have said that he has avoided fighting black fighters. I would argue that Pac has fought the best in his weight classes. For the most part, they happened to be Latinos.

    What's the excuse now?

Colour is irrelevant. Anyone who suggests otherwise is a repressed racist and ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Does the lack of responses in this thread answer your question?

The people who felt this way said that Pacquiao avoided Elite African-American fighters. They weren't saying what you said. I might be wrong, but I don't think that Ghana is in America and that is where Clottey was born and raised. It's also fair to state that Clottey is not elite. Almost everybody, including myself felt Pacquiao would easily win this fight against Clottey.

This was obviously a pointless thread.

Firstly Pac clearly avoids no one, secondly Clottey was not a good win just watching his interviews before the fight you could see his aim was only to not get knocked out! he didn't try to win.

Clottey isn't African American there's a big difference there. It would be like trying to say someone from Spain and Mexico are the same because they're both Latino. Completely different styles and make up. Hopefully pac will put to rest this and fight an elite African American next either PBF, Shane, Bradley or Alexander next.

He's needs to fight a so-called African American, descendant of slaves. Clottey and brothers from Africa are too much of gentlemen to have that killer instinct. Clottey just have too much admiration, respect and friendship with Pac.
