so one fighter was awarded a SD in a close fight and it was supposed to be controversial now?

and why did you say pac's stock plummet after that fight?

Since retiring in 2007 pac fought and beat Marquez, diaz, dlh, hatton, cotto, clottey, margarito, mosley while floyd has mosley,marquez... No doubt the guy is skilled but inactivity cant be rewarded and recent wins cant be overlooked just because he might struggle with a guy. Floyd can and hopefully will fight pacquiao after ortiz, if he wins he is #1, till then deal with 4 year p4p #1 domination:smoke

Do you understand the word controversial?

The fight was a controversial decision, as many people at ringside and at home scored the fight in favour of marquez. So yes it was a controversial fight.

For you to suggest otherwise implies you are still in denial.

I never said pac stock plummeted after their last fight i said.

What about if it a controversial win, once again. Pac stock will plummet.

The once again was in relation to the controversial win. Pac stock will plummet is in relation to his new found fame and p4p status and star attraction.

    Hope I cleared that up.

it's only controversial to those who are bias. those who thinks it's a close fight that could have went either way would not say it was a controversial decision. so i guess you would also say that floyd winning a little wide against castillo is also controversial? the score is much wider and it was a very close fight. in fact more people are claiming of a castillo win than people are saying marquez won the 2nd fight.

You make a few good points, but you do realise that some of your fellow pac fans still believe pac is p4p number 1 even if floyd beats him.

What are your views on that?

pac was already the no.2 p4p fighter and was already a star during and after the 2nd fight with marquez. so you are saying that pac's stock will plummet if this fight becomes controversial "once more" yet you did not think that pac's stock plummet after their 2nd fight even after you thought it was "controversial'? you are contradicting yourself here gunner... :hi:

The flrst floyd v castillo fight is also controversial. Hence why an immediate rematch was required.

Pac v Marquez decision was controversial to many people who held no bias scoring the fight at the time.

And there was no question to answer as you misinterpreted what I wrote.

Are you seriously suggesting that pac was a bigger star as he is now?

Becuase just looking at his ppv buys and media coverage since the oscar fight will tell you otherwise.

I will take it you are clearly misinformed yet again. Unless pac was doing 1 million ppv buys in america when he fought marquez the 2nd time.:hi:

I guess floyd was also a bigger star as he is now when he fought baldomir.

I rank floyd number 2 when active because of his skills,if he beats ortiz clearly he is back at the top of the p4p rankings so if he beats pacquiao he is number 1 on my list.

the scoring is a bit controversial for the floyd-castillo fight since it was too wide for floyd. but it hard-press to call the SD win awarded to pacquiao a controversial one since it was really a close fight and the official scores reflect that. even if you look at the opinion polls, almost everybody is split. hence no real controversy on this one.

pac's stock would plummet only if he wins in a robbery. if he and marquez gave an amazing fight yet once again and pac squeezes and close but clear win this time, i don't see pac's stock plummeting that much especially if both gives an A+ performance once again.
