I think anyone who follows boxing, and Mayweather in particular has seen this, at the same time he also leans in, feinting and then throwing. The trainers have no doubt seen this, but can there fighters do anything about it? Nope. It would be pretty hard watching his foot movement whilst he is watching you at all times.
Even if a fighter did click onto what Mayweather was doing, Mayweather would quickly adapt to what he was doing and go about it in a different way.
This is what wins Mayweather the bout for me, he has plan A, B, C, etc, whilst also adapting in the ring. Roach is Pacquiao's ring intelligence, and may run out of ideas during the 12 rounds.

I love hearing this. You guys are idiots. Roach is an offensive minded coach. Improve all you want, you will still be limited by the coaches vision. Raoch's "vision" is that of an offensive fighter's.

yes pac has the intelligence, but more importantly he has the right style and he'll have the right gameplan.

Yes he has. Watch how he was able to figure out Cotto by the 2nd rd.

Exactly. Pac is a great offensive fighter. Defensively? He has issues. Against a fleet footed accurate puncher who will take what he can get, leave, and come back for more? Pac is going to have problems.

Why? Because for all of Pac's improvements they are ALL in the area of increasing offensive efficiency. He will get led into traps and eat MONSTROUS straight rights all night.

After watching the Clottey fight? I think Manny may be stopped.

Even if he doesn't, Freddie Roach does. Pacquiao is as good as they come implementing a gameplan.

I think pacquiao's footwork will get him into position to unleash his attack against mayweather. Floyd is very good at adapting, but from what I've seen of him in his last 3 fights...he's rather evasive than elusive, backing up in a straight line. This may very well be his demise as pac can close the distance with his phenomenal footwork. Why bother cutting the ring off when you can just follow him straight bacK??

IMO, it's floyd right hand, not ring generalship, is what pac and roach should be worried about. His reach advantage, precision punching, upper body movement, and great timing will be pac's biggest hurdles. I do however think that floyd simply does not have the power to consistently stop pac in his tracks. he took massive shots from a much more heavy handed cotto, and came back for more, destroying cotto along the way. But like they said the punches that hurts the most are the ones you cant see, and pbf is very good at timing his punches at the moment you least expect it, or in a position you are not able to defend. Pac's reaction against floyd's straight right is the key....how it will affect him, will see.

Pac is going to eat a straight right hand from Floyd on the back foot if he chases him like that.

Even Void, Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to ever fight Pac, right after Pac stopped Cotto.

No.. Don't matter how much speed you got if you can't use it effectively. Floyd will utilize effective control of distance and timing to neutralize any attack Pac thinks he's going to mount.

**** is chess, not checkers.. lol
