Hmm... It depends on who you ask. I think that in terms of achievements Pacquiao ranks higher. As fighter Duran will probably beat Pacquiao.

 nice try with the poll options. manny's my favorite active fighter, but not at duran's level yet. i think a win over floyd (duran beat leonard) and a win over foreman (duran beat moore at 154lbs and barkley at 160lbs) would put him at or near durans level. thing about duran he was not consistent and would get lazy, where manny is very consistent. so i like manny's chances, but not there yet.

  7. Duran ranks higher- he beat a prime sr leonard:deal..

if Paq beats Mayrunner a poor mans Leonard ( which is a BIG if) then maybe you can start making comparisons:smoke...

Mayrunner isn't **** compared to Leonard..:-(

Unless you put Pac in your top 10, there's no justification for having him higher than Duran.

And if you have Pac in your top 10, you are a moron.

:good And Duran won a middleweight title in his mid 30s. Manny would need a win over Mayweather to be compared as equal. Manny planning to retire at 31 won't boost his ATG status too much more.

He's not in my top 10 but why should he not be in the top 10? Pacquiao is probably in the top 20s-30s right now. He became a champion in 7 different weight divisions. He is also the only boxer who became lineal champion in 4 different weight division. He beat a lot of ring legends. And please spare me the boxer that he beat was shot and old crap.

i wish I could see comments like this and ignore them, but I cannot. Duran beat Ray when Ray was inexperienced. If this is all you have to say Duran is ATG top 10, then that is not a great proof. Duran fought his fight against a green Ray Leonard and he still barely won. Then in the rematch he was outclassed after Ray said he would box and move and outclass him he did. That speaks for itself. If Duran's resume is dependent on Leonard, then you have to take the two easy losses to Leonard also.
