Why does he need a win over Mayweather to equal Duran? Which ATG fighters did Duran beat? You will say Leonard, but Ray won the two rematches easily. Easily. So who else? Duran did not stop Leonard. It was a decision. Barely won. Then Ray won the rematches. Who are the greats Duran beat which make him this ATG who is top 10 as most people say.

Not to mention Pac started out 33 pounds lighter and is fighting for the same belt that Duran won from SRL....point Manny

AND, IF, and that is a big IF, Manny beats Floyd and again in the rematch he goe's in the top 10 ATG above Duran

Do you think a hydrated DLH goes thru Cotto like that? HELL NO!!!!
And yes, I do think he would have also beat DLH at 154 like floyd but it was too much weight for him too fast. DLH would get hit just as much if he had wieghed in at 154 IMO he was just shot and that's why he retired

That's just my opinion and that's how I have high regard for SRL, inexperienced or not. Duran also had a longer career and was as dominant or more compared to Pacquiao. I think Pac overtakes Duran soon, maybe he already has. It's hard for me to judge at the moment since he's still fighting. I still have Duran slightly ahead.

    *7 division champion!

*never knocked out cold when he was in his peak (the KO losses were early part of his career + one loss to morales). Duran lost via humiliating
and devastating ko loss. He never wanted to see any of thomas hearns in the ring.Totally mismatched fight!

*morales paid dearly after his win with pac. It was a loss to pac but can it can never be labeled as totally mismatch.

    * no problem. i respect the opinion of others
