Does Pacquaio really belong in the Top 10 All Time with this guy?

You do realize that there are 10 spots in the "Top 10", right? Ali is surely one of them, but there are other nine spots there.

I am not one of those who says Pac belongs there, but other people may have valid arguments about it. If Emmanuel Steward says he is, I'll believe him before I believe you.

 

yep. ali is in his own league, alright. but there's a big drop-off after him.

i do have pac at the top 25, borderline top 20.

 

None of the fighters in red were great fighters or ever legit world champions.

Foster was really not much at heavyweight, he was an ATG light heavyweight however.

Champions who were titlists but not great in orange (Norton is arguable though).

Men who were far past their best or today would've been called someone's "leftovers" the way they pick apart Pacquiao's resume are in green.

Men who would've been considered simply too slow to compete with Ali in the same vein as Margarito are in white.

Men who are thought to have quit twice are in pink.

That said, Ali's resume is awesome and one of the best ever if not the single best single-division resume and I rate him above Pacquiao and in my own top ten list. Just making a point.

Quarry was pretty damn good man, regardless of never not winning. Wasn't he the #1 contendor twice during that time period? Gave Frazier a good fight. The guy was just in an awesome era.

Foreman would've never been seen as too slow because he was never that slow. We know Ali was an underdog so I can't imagine that being different in this time considering his destruction of the two guys that beat Ali.

Bonavena, Young, and Shavers are respectable scalps. Even if they're controversial ones.

 

You did catch the part where I was just making a point and said Ali had possibly the best single-division resume ever, correct? And the part where I rated him above Pacquiao?
